Hello everyone,

I was asked to write a review of a hotel I liked most, so here goes:

If you’re looking for that WOW! moment, book a room at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Seriously. I’m not a regular in Dubai, so the whole holiday in the UAE experience had to be perfect for me as a first-timer, if you know what I mean. And it was, almost.

Why almost? Because the moment before I had to leave, I was hoping my plane ticket would be damaged or lost, or the hotel would like me so much they would offer me a free night or something. Didn’t happen, although I still believe they did like me, since I was such a great guest, smiling at everyone, totally dizzy from the whole experience, telling absolute strangers my impressions of the swimming pool, the beach, even the towels in my room! Yeah, as if anyone was interested in what I thought about the towels at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray…

(For the record, I did find them attractive. I also found some particular members of staff at the hotel VERY VERY attractive, but may history keep silent about that.)

I stayed in the Deluxe King room, and boy it was amazing! Luxury, luxury, luxury! Could easily spend my whole honeymoon there, if I was to decide to get married, which I won’t. But still, wouldn’t that be great?

And then, of course,  is the location. Now come on, who hasn’t heard of the Palm Jumeirah?? Absolutely breathtaking, if you ask me. I took so many pictures I had to buy a new memory card for my camera. Good that the VERY VERY attractive members of staff at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray were helpful with that.

As for food, during my stay there I was usually stuffing myself with the most delicious curries ever at the Amala, and the French-style buffet at the Imperium was also good. Now as far as drinks are concerned… For better or worse, I spent most of my evenings at the Voda Bar. Super chic. Divine cocktails. Simply awesome.

So if you asked me, “Should I stay at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray?” I would say yes, mate. Book it now.
