It has been brought to our attention that clients are sometimes unaware of the dress code requirements at Beachcomber Hotels throughout the Indian Ocean.  I am therefore writing to clarify these requirements and ask if you would be so kind as to advise all relevant staff.

• During the daytime the dress code at all Beachcomber hotels is casual.  Beach-wear with discreet covering is acceptable during the day.  Sleeveless shirts and bathrobes are not acceptable.

• For evenings the dress code is elegant casual.  We do however request that guests do not wear collarless t-shirts, shorts or sandals (for men) in the restaurants.  Jeans, bathrobes, shorts, jogging trousers or t-shirts are not allowed.  Full length trousers and closed shoes are required for gentlemen in the evenings.
